I think I've watched dancing with the stars too much...

So I walked in on my little ones dancing and I decided to sneak a recording. I about died when I saw this ha ha ha...



This was cute too, even though they knew they were being recorded.

The game!

Kaden got to go to the UTAH - BYU game with Derek. Derek had been hyping it up all week, so he was so excited to go. We bundled him up in lots of layers because it was so cold but leave it to Kaden to ask for a SNOW CONE at the game!! Luckily Derek was able to talk him into a hot chocolate instead. After the game they ran down on the field and got to meet some of the players. He had such a blast and thought it was the coolest thing to meet them.

Happy Halloween

This year was so much fun! Jace was loving the idea of everyone giving him candy. He kept trying to sit down in the parking lot and eat it, he didn't like that I kept stopping him. This year we just did a quick trunk or treat because it was so cold and wet but we had tons of fun.

My Chloe

Derek got home from work tonight and we were just talking and Chloe said to Derek "Why do you have to go to work Daddy?" Dereks reply was "So we can have food and clothes and a warm bed to sleep in." Then Chloe said "You have all of that at your work?" LOL it was so adorable how surprised she was that we could just go pick all of that up at Dads work. ha ha so cute!

A couple nights ago we were struggling getting the kids to bed so we could watch a movie. Everytime we would put them in bed and sit down to start the movie, we would see one of them sneek down the hall way. Finally after sitting with them for a minute, they seemed to be asleep. So we watched our movie and then got ready to go to bed. When I turned the corner to go down the hallway, this is what I saw...

She was trying to be sneaky but got bored I guess. I almost stepped on her head. ha ha

Derek is 30!!

So I'm a few days late with this, but you know me...

Actually I haven't been able to get the video upload to work. But I finally got it. Dereks birthday was on Saturday and on Friday we had a big birthday party for him. We had so much fun. With my sisters help, I put together a little slide show of pictures of Derek, its crazy how much Jace looks like him when he was younger. Then on his birthday we went to dinner with some friends to Tucanos, yum! Happy Birthday Babe!!

First day of school!

Kaden finally got to go to pre-school this year. He has been looking forward to this forever. He really wanted to go last year but he wasn't quite potty trained so he couldn't. His face lit up so bright when I told him he was going this year and couldn't stop smiling when we went to pick out his back pack. He was so big and brave and had no hesitations walking into class. He hardly took time to say goodbye. He looked so grown up walking in there with his backpack and not looking back, like he just didn't need me anymore! He is really enjoying it and its nice cause me and Chloe get some girl time while he is gone and Jace is asleep.

Bear Lake

Last week we went to Bear Lake with Dereks family. It was so much fun. The kids were so excited to sleep in a tent and roast marshmallows They had a great time with their cousins and playing at the beach.

Tristan and Chloe were playing barbies in the tent and the

boys were playing super heros, it was so cute.

I think they were compleatly worn out by the last day!

More summer activities

So there was a lot going on this summer and I got way too busy to sit down and do very many posts, so I just wanted to post some of the things I missed. Chloe was in a dance class a while ago and she loved it, at the end they did a little recital. It was so cute. I was really afraid that she would be way too shy and just stand on stage the whole time but she actually did really awesome. She loved it and loved all the attention she got from family. I think her favorite part about it though was getting to wear makeup! She was walking around like a little model after I put it on her. She was so adorable and it made me so happy to see her up there. She has come a long way from being so shy. I only have a couple short clips of the dance because of course, my luck, my cameras memory card was not in the camera! A little is better than none though and we got some really cute pictures.

We also got to go to Park City with my family for a little family vacation. We had a blast! The

kids favorite part was lots and lots of swimming and the little gondola ride. My favorite was just relaxing and playing games with family. It was really nice to just relax for a week and not worry about everything else.

This was Chloes favorite part, she flew so high and wanted to do it over and over again.

We went to Lagoon and I don't think I've ever had as much fun as I did this time and I only went on like 5 rides. It was all about Kaden and Chloe and they had such a blast. Last time we went they were too afraid to go on any rides, so I really thought it would be hard to get them on any, especially Chloe. They went on every kid ride and just wanted more and more, they even liked the ones that were a little scarey. Chloes favorite was the one that is like a mini rocket. She was so cute, when we first dropped she kind of freaked and had this look on her face like she was going to die but then started laughing and wanted to go again. Kadens favorites were the ones he could control going up and down and of course the ships with the guns. He also really liked the Octopus one that you can get really wet on, especially if the lever is "broken"... wink wink Karalee! Ha ha. Grandma took Kaden on that one and got soaked because the button that moved you up and down was "broken." Ya she was pushing the non existent button instead of pulling on the lever so they were going right through the water every time. LOL she was such a good sport. It was so fun watching them laugh and have a blast.

We went to Cherry Hill with my family a few weeks ago and had a great time. Kaden and Chloe couldn't get enough of the slide at Pirates Cove, and Jace was having a ball crawling around in the water, he LOVES the water. I made a huge mistake of thinking I could take Kaden and Chloe down Cardiac Canyon by myself. Never again! I thought we were going to die, what a nightmare. Chloe was screaming the whole way down and could barely hang on to her tube, and Kaden was freaking out because I lost hold of him down the first hill and was afraid I would loose him again. I could barely see them over their tubes, so I was holding their wrists and my tube while getting ripped in half with one child already down the hill and the other still on top and me in the middle holding on for dear life to both of them and trying to calm them down the whole time. I don't think any of us had fun on that ride, not a good idea. So the rest of the day we stuck to the lazy river and pirates cove, which is the best idea for anyone going to Cherry Hill with little kids.

Happy Birthday Jace!!!

My little baby turned one this week and I still can't believe how fast it went. On his birthday we went to Boondocks, just cause I know there is so much for a one year old to do there. ha ha He did have some fun though on the carousel, the playground and a little with the bowling. Then the next Monday we had his birthday party with everyone. It was so much fun, we had a BBQ at Layton Park. He really caught on to the present thing pretty quick but he didn't like it when I pulled it away for him to open another one. He LOVED the cake, he really dove in. All the kids had plenty of fun helping him get really messy too. It was a fun day and I just can't believe he is one. This year went way too fast. Jace is such a happy baby and loves to dance. He is learning more words, right now he only says about 5. He really gets around, he can crawl really fast but isn't quite showing interest in walking. He loves throwing the ball back and forth and just doing whatever his big brother is doing. He loves food, especially bananas and soup. Everytime I look at him I can't help but smile, he is so much fun to have around. Happy Birthday Jace!!
