Easter

Easter was a fun day, we had a big hunt with my family at my sisters house and the kids had a blast.  They got to ride a mini bike and had a blast playing with their cousins and eating lots of candy.  We colored eggs and ate lots of food, and got the traditional sunglasses from Nana with the porch picture to go along with it.  It was a really fun day.  Sunday we spent with Derek's family, the kids always look forward to the yarn game.  Grandma has yarn going throughout the whole house and little toys and prizes hiding along the way.  We also had a fun egg hunt, and plenty of yummy food to eat as well.

After... finally

Luci Isabella Fairclough

First time they got to see their new sister.  So excited and nervous!
They loved her immediately

Luci was born 4/21/2012 at 8:35 am.  She was a whopping 6lbs 5 oz.  20 in. long.  Luci was named after Dereks sweet grandma Lucille that just passed away from cancer.  She was a wonderful lady and the best grandma to everyone.  He middle name is after my Great Aunt that meant a lot to me growing up.
Overall everything at the hospital went really well.  I was getting really nervous but Derek helped me forget about it and calm down a little bit.  I was a lot more dizzy and nauseous during the surgery this time, but it went away after a while.  It was so fun seeing how excited the kids were to come see her.  Jace couldn't wait to get his hands on her.  Chloe was actually acting really nervous and didn't seem to want to touch her or hold her.  I later found out that it was because she heard the nurse say she hadn't had her bath yet so Chloe was afraid she was still gross and dirty like she had seen on TV when they come out.  :)  Kaden was afraid she would get his "germs" so he insisted on wearing his mask.  They love her so much (a little too much sometimes)  and are such big helpers.  It is so much fun having her here.  She is a really good baby so far, she sleeps a lot so I have to wake her up sometimes to eat because she is so tiny.  The second night home I woke up in the morning and jumped out of bed to see if she was still breathing because it was 9:00 am and I didn't wake up once to feed her.  She slept the whole night!!  The next two nights she only woke up once, it was nice but it did worry me a little bit.  It was of course was short lived because she is now back to being a normal newborn waking me up plenty!
