fun in the leaves

Kaden had his basketball today and we were bored. So we packed a dinner pic nic and went to the park next to the school that it is at. We ate dinner and played while we waited for it to start. They loved the leaves and kept trying to throw them in each others faces. I am so excited for this nice weather!!

Is this wrong?

The kids trapped Jace under this bucket, is is wrong that I just took pictures instead of helping him out?

The park

It was pretty nice outside today and the kids were going crazy so we took a walk, well I walked and the kids rode their little four wheelers, to the park. They are pretty gutless, so it took quite a while for us to putt along to the park. Kaden is a little heavier so his went slower and he didn't like Chloe being in front so he kept trying to use his feet to push himself faster. I tried to help push him along as well with the stroller, but I could only do so much and he had to get use to following Chloe. We eventually got there and they had a blast. Kaden discovered the rock wall and despite me telling him not to climb it, it was too scarey and he wasn't big enough, he had to prove me wrong...

Chloe just loved the slide and kept going over and over, she called it the scarey slide.

On the way home they were a little tired of pushing the button, so I had to carry one of the wheelers home and they took turns riding the other one. Who would have thought that you would need a break from riding and walk instead?

Disney on Ice

This weekend we got to go to Disney on Ice. It was so much fun, they had Cars, Lion King, Tinkerbell, and the little Mermaid. When we told the kids that we were going, they were so excited they couldn't stop talking about it. On the way down there Kaden kept saying "I'm so excited!!" At the show, Chloe kept yelling out "HI TINKERBELL!" Then she would ask why Tinkerbell wouldn't say hi to her. It was sad but so cute. It was a really fun evening with the kids. These are the best pictures we got because we forgot the camera again, of course.

Never again.

So to vent, and hope that I am not the only one...I have always hated shopping with my kids because it is just too hard to try and look at things and try to watch 2 kids running around, but I thought I would give it a try the other night. I was in desperate need of some jeans so I thought; its been a while, they are a little older now, maybe I can reason with them, or bribe them if that doesn't work. Well neither worked, I think my children got possesed by some evil little demons.:) They were all over the store, hiding in the clothes racks and chasing each other. In the dressing room, they were jumping off the bench, yelling at each other, fighting, hitting and making Jace cry. They got dress ups, transformers, videogames, movies, make up, you name it, it got taken away but nothing seemed to stop them from terrorizing the store. Yes, I was that woman with her kids at the mall that you wish would just leave. I finally got the pants I wanted and went to buy them so I could get out of there, when it happened. I heard a crash and as I turned around to see what it was, I see my little Kaden running away from the scene! Oh no, tell me thats not what I think it is... yes it was. There on the ground was a clothes rack that crashed into the wall, clothes were everywhere, I was humiliated, and Kaden was in so much trouble! Never again!
