My little baby turned one this week and I still can't believe how fast it went. On his birthday we went to Boondocks, just cause I know there is so much for a one year old to do there. ha ha He did have some fun though on the carousel, the playground and a little with the bowling. Then the next Monday we had his birthday party with everyone. It was so much fun, we had a BBQ at Layton Park. He really caught on to the present thing pretty quick but he didn't like it when I pulled it away for him to open another one. He LOVED the cake, he really dove in. All the kids had plenty of fun helping him get really messy too. It was a fun day and I just can't believe he is one. This year went way too fast. Jace is such a happy baby and loves to dance. He is learning more words, right now he only says about 5. He really gets around, he can crawl really fast but isn't quite showing interest in walking. He loves throwing the ball back and forth and just doing whatever his big brother is doing. He loves food, especially bananas and soup. Everytime I look at him I can't help but smile, he is so much fun to have around. Happy Birthday Jace!!

Crazy month continued...4th of July!
4th of July!! I love it, my absolute most favorite holiday and it doesn't get any better than having three days to celebrate! I am so grateful for all the men that have served, are serving and will serve to give us what we have today! Thank you for everything you do. A special thanks to my big brother Mike, who is currently deployed. I love you and miss you! And to my best friend Rachelle's little brother David who is serving and was injured, we are all praying for you and are so grateful for what you do.
I just love the time of year and all that goes with it. We spent most the day Saturday with some of Derek's family, saw the parade and fireworks, then Sunday we got to see his mom and went to dinner at her house. Then on Monday we spent with my family and saw another parade, played at the park all day and went on all the fun blow up toys they have at the park and watched more of my favorite, the fireworks. It was an awesome fun filled weekend!
I love how Kaden won't even look at the camera!
Crazy Month!
A lot has been going on and I have been slacking on the posts, so here is what we have been up too.
Kaden refused to go to bed one night so we let him lay on the warm towels that just came out of the dryer while we played a game. It didn't take very long for him to realize how tired he was.
