Kaden and Chloe got their first experience at Trick or Treating. Kaden was really shy and hesitant at first but after the second time of him knocking on the door and some stanger handing him candy, he was hooked. He ran to the door said his trick or treat before the door even opened and as soon as it did, he walked right in and took some candy and was ready to move on. If mom and dad got too slow or stopped to try and fix his costume, we heard "more candy, more candy" Chloe of course just stared at everyone and stayed comfortable with me holding her. She did enjoy trying to eat all of Kadens candy. She loved the wrappers and tried to get them open. She got a hold of a sucker and was in heaven. They of course made the cutest Pebbles and Bam Bam. Kaden loved his club! Derek taught him to say BAM BAM as he hit the ground with the club. He walked around and started hitting everything with it so we had to take it away for a while. I have to tell you though about parts of Kadens costume, I could not find a club anywhere I had been looking all week, so as I was walking through the craft section at Walmart, the floral foam jumped out at me. I couldn't believe it there was a cone shaped one and a flat circle one and a dome shaped one and put together made the perfect club shape so I just covered it in fabric. Oh and another thing I looked everywhere for to finish off his costume was the bone. I couldn't find one anywhere, so I was leaving to go home and just make one out of paper when I saw Petsmart!!! It worked perfect.
The costumes didn't fit quite as well when they had no clothes on. I made them big so they would fit over their sweaters and warm clothes. But I had to get pictures with them half naked!
Chloe found her sucker, and Kaden wanted his candy opened too. Brinlee got into hers just fine and Landon was just smiling cute for the picture.
